About |
I have lived in Yate for 20 years and have two children at Yate academy. As a governor, I have interests in safeguarding, behaviour, attendance and SEND. As the parent of a child with SEND needs, it is important to me that any child with SEND receives appropriate support and an inclusive education. It is also important to me that our children have good attendance and can feel safe and secure in school. We are keen gardeners as a family and have two allotments in Yate. |

About |
I am a mother of one daughter, three step-daughters and four grand-children. I have been living in Yate for over 16 years and currently work in Bristol for an insurance broker dealing with and providing management information, analysis and administration. My daughter previously attended Yate Academy through to sixth form and whilst she was there, I additionally held the position of Clerk to the Governors for approximately five years. This included both primary and secondary and I therefore gained knowledge and experience of governance for students aged between four and 18 years. |
