Yate Academy

A Better Chance Of Success

Welcome from
  • Edward Rakshi

At Yate Academy we provide students with an unrivalled quality of education. This is underpinned by an ethos of strong discipline, excellent manners, and exceptional teaching. We have the highest expectations for our students and believe there is no ceiling to what a child can achieve through hard work and dedication. Pride is the bedrock of our school community and this runs through every aspect of the school day. Our ambition sets us apart, we strive to give every child opportunities they won't get anywhere else and for them to excel in every aspect of school life.

Alongside a rich and carefully considered curriculum students have the opportunity to engage in a broad enrichment programme. We give our students experiences that allow them to maximise their potential regardless of their starting points and believe that true inclusion is achieved by creating an environment that allows every child to learn and supports them to work their very hardest all the time.

Yate Academy is incredibly lucky to have a highly talented and committed staff who challenge our students to be the best version of themselves. In fact, challenge is central to everything we do. As colleagues we challenge each other to be better, as a staff we challenge our students to be better. This is what makes Yate Academy special.

Selecting the right secondary school can be a daunting experience for any parent. I am confident that when you get to know us you will be struck by the warmth and care that runs through the academy, coupled with our ambition that only the very best is good enough for our students. Please do come and attend our open evening to find out more and I look forward to welcoming you to Yate Academy.
