The house system is a traditional feature in most schools in the UK, and when any student joins a school they are set into one house, this house they will belong to throughout their school years.

Launched in January 2024, we have created a new Yate Academy House System.

The New System enables:

• A sense of belonging in all students.

• Greater opportunities outside of the classroom.

• Participation in a range of competitions.

• Support charities through fundraising 

• Win merits 

• Rewards Trip opportunities
